Escape the hustle-bustle of city life to the calm and lilting sounds of the soothing ocean at Tanjung Piai National Park. Wake up to the splendor of nature’s wonder at the Southernmost Tip of Mainland Asia. A natural paradise, the park is a protected haven for mangroves, well-known for their resilience, and is the mainstay for the sustainability of the various coastal wildlife, and the conservation of the ecosystem itself.


Is this really the tip of Southern Most Tip of Mainland Asia?
Its unique geographical position at the southern tip of mainland Asia, at 1° 16.00’ North and 103° 30.46’ East coordinates, is the reason the park is proudly referred to as the Southernmost Tip of Mainland Asia.

Pulau Kukup National Park is one the largest uninhabited mangroves in the world and is the only one situated in Johor waters. It is as well consider as Malaysia largest mangrove island covering an area of about 800 acres, with up to 647 hectares of mangroves. 

This mangrove park is home to a few rare animals like fish,shrimp,crabs,shellfish,insects and more. As well as wild animals like lizard, river otter, wild boar, leaf monkey and numerous species of birds.

Tambak is one place to relaxing mind in Pontian. In the evening there are several type of food stalls in that area that sell several types of food such as Maggi Udang, Maggi Ketam and steamboat. After you buy some food you can enjoy your food while seating on the rock. Other than eating activities, we can also enjoy beautiful panoramic views in the morning and evening, jogging and fishing. You can throw your rod along the beach here while relaxing as there is the convenience of a beach separator for relaxation fishing.

This museum located in a small town namely Pekan Nanas. Museum Nanas showcases everything about the tropical fruit, pineapple. It focuses mainly on the cultivation of the pineapple, from scratches until the end. Apart from that, the museum exhibits the way pineapple is processed, and finally canned. Moreover, you get to see all types of pineapple planted just outside the museum. If you are interested in getting some souvenirs there, they do sell products of pineapple, such as pineapple jam, pineapple fresh juice and more.In the museum, it shows that the leaves of the pineapple are useful too. It actually can be used in making clothes.

Bugis Museum is a culture museum that concerning the customs of Bugis community. The museum founded in 1982 by Mr Abdullah Ahmad. Bugis Museum exhibited various artifacts such as weapons, traditional clothes, writing materials, pottery, jewelries, sacred objects and objects of cultural patrimony be considered for repatriation to tribal communities.

Pasar Lambak are street markets which operate at night and are generally dedicated to more leisurely strolling, shopping, and eating than more businesslike day markets. They are typically open-air markets. There are various types of trade including food products, wet materials items and clothing.
